The Lochinver Larder has won numerous awards for its home made pies. Diners who particularly enjoy their sit in experience can order pies to be sent anywhere in mainland Britain. Each week the business dispatches parcels to places as far apart as Thurso and Devon. Venison is the most popular choice but there are numerous savoury options and a range of sweet pies too. Those who don’t want to indulge in pastry can opt for fish, steaks or vegetarian main courses. The restaurant sits at the edge of the estuary at the entrance to the village and diners have a choice between the conservatory or dining room. Those who want to spend time out doors can buy hot or cold pies to take away.
