The Old Inn

The 2012 edition of The List's Eating & Drinking Guide is out now – only £5.95 (+p&p).

This 16th century inn sits by the roadside- opposite the pier in Gairloch. Food is a main focus for the business and the head chef is a member of the Culinaire Francais. Seafood, straight from the boats appears in range of imaginative dishes such as a seafood kettle. Clootie dumpling features constantly on the desert menu and is made by an award winning expert who lives locally. The inn also has its own brewery, producing three ales for sale on the pub premises.
