The Capital, a unique townhouse hotel in the heart of Knightsbridge, was created by its Scottish proprietor, David Levin, 33 years ago. To this day it is a family-run hotel. With 49 suites and rooms, every piece of furniture , work of art and accoutrement is hand-picked or commissioned by the Levin family. The exquisite interiors incorporate the works of acclaimed names from the world of British design and original paintings, from the Levin family's own collection, adorn the walls.
The Capital Restaurant (awarded two Michelin stars in January 2001 and retaining them today) serves gourmet French food under the direction of Head Chef Eric Chavot, in the intimate restaurant, seating 33.
