The Macdonald Alveston Manor is steeped in history and the 16th Century Manor House wing with its elegant décor and wealth of original features offers the perfect mood for a relaxing meal in the hotel's Manor Grill restaurant. The team of talented chefs, headed by Executive Chef, David Grindrod, offer a tempting menu of modern British dishes. David brought his skills to the hotel in 2004, from a background of Four and Five star hotels with award winning restaurants , and within 6 months had achieved the first rosette for the restaurant.
The Alveston Manor is located on the outskirts of Stratford's town centre and is the perfect location for exploring all the local attractions on foot; the Royal Shakespeare Theatre is just a few minutes walk away. Beautifully maintained gardens feature an ancient cedar tree, where rumour has it that the first performance of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' took place.
We look forward to seeing you - a warm welcome awaits.
