The Royal Hotel is a beautiful privately owned Victorian building, which sits at the end of Tain High Street, which is Scotland's oldest Royal Burgh. Our Executive Chef, Ewan Urquhart who prides himself in the use of great local produce, everything is freshly cooked and prepared daily. As well as the finest beef and Venison our fish is sourced locally as is our vegetables.
There are many activities and places to visit in the area including golfing, fishing, walking, 2 award winning beaches and the famous Glenmorangie Distillery. We encourage a warm and relaxing environment for dinner, light lunch or afternoon teas. At the end of a day spent exploring you can relax in our well-appointed lounge bar and sample some of our extensive range of fine malt whiskies.
All our 25 rooms are en-suite and have TV and radio, direct-dial telephone, hairdryer, alarm clock and hospitality tray as standard. For use with your own laptop, we offer free Wi-Fi Internet connection. There are 4 four-poster bedrooms and the Bridal Suite.
