Black Rose

I was meeting friends in Edinburgh and sitting in the wrong pub waiting for them. What a brilliant mistake. The staff are wonderful especially the Geordie woman who is an excellent chef. Myself and my colleagues now eat there every fortnight and i travel quite a way to go there and will carry on doing so. Its a Rock Bar. Not normally a place i would probably choose. I am so glad i made that very first mistake. In fact i was only in Yesterday and that has prompted me to write a review. The Chef made curries as the days Special but i believe they are now on once a week. I had Red Thai Curry, whilst my friend had a Green Thai Curry. We were in Curry heaven. she can really cook. I also think i have tried everything on the menu and never once had a bad experience both with the staff and the Food. In fact i have a Bistro in Glasgow and that's why we try to come down to Edinburgh as often as possible. I will also say if Glasgow was closer i would definitely poach the little lady chef. I wont eat any where else but here now in Edinburgh. I can not believe that i could get such high class food in a little Rock Bar. Go and try it, you wont be disappointed.
