The Tullie InnReport -
My family and I just visited the Tullie Inn today, after winning a voucher at christmas from my daughters school.
We were very disappointed.
After being seated and ordering drinks and food, we were left for almost an hour and eventually I had to send a waitress to find what was going on after a family who entered about 15 minutes after us were served their meals.
When our food finally did arrive, it was not at an acceptable standard.
My wife ordered Roast Beef Dinner, which arrived Luke warm on a cold plate. The roast potatoes were deep fried and the yorkshire pudding was stone cold.
My son ordered a cheeseburger with chips. The bun was over-toasted and the burger was so badly burned, that he couldn't bite through it. My wife tried to cut away the burnt edges but discovered that it was almost burnt through!
The chips were good.
My order was bangers and mash, which arrived Luke warm also. I expected three or four large sausages for almost £9, but was shocked to be offered only two, served on what can only be described as a child portion of mashed potato with no veg or side!
Upon deciding not to continue our meal, we decided that as we would not return it would be pointless to keep the £20 voucher, we handed it to staff, but we're offered nothing back as compensation.
