Reviews of Chambers Coffee House (34 South Tay Street, Dundee)

1. To good for Dundee, Perth road – 7 February 2010, 7:31pm5 starsChambers Coffee HouseReport

A new place in Dundee and not very well marked from the outside
but once you enter it's obvious that the money has been spent inside. I remember this when it was a run down church. The owner has done a exquisite job on the inside. From the slate tiles to the real wood floor lovely leather sofa and quality furniture it's a real disservice to call this place a cafe of coffee shop. The menu is excellent I love the choice with a lot of places the bigger the menu the worse the food. Not here however all home cooked and beautifully presented. It's not a cheap place but I have seen some if the local competition on the same street charging alot more for worse food. Service is plesant and friendly. Sometimes there can be a small delay on food at busy times and best to book a table for larger groups. We have pre ordered our food before and this is great.

Highly recommend this place as it's one of the few that do genuine offer excellent service and home cooked food.
