A great big thank you to Kathy and Andy Landlords of the Antonnie Arms and their customers for looking after my partner Peter "Bomber" Harris walking Lands End for "The Help The Heroes charity" while he stayed in Twecher 27th May 2010.
You all made Bomber feel very welcomed and entertained having now covered 800 miles with 350 miles to go to his goal John O'Groats. It makes things back here in London much better when you hear of the good people and gracious hospitality he receives.
I look forward to the other pictures Kathy & Andy. Thank you again

I received a flyer posted through my door about the real ale festival being held by this pub, so my husband and I used their free mini-bus service and went to check it out. We were impressed by the selection of ales, whiskies and other drink options. I found the staff to be knowledgable, the pub to be quaint and the locals welcoming. We will be going back again and are looking forward to the upcoming ale festival in October.

I am a real ale man and a local of the area. The couple that have taken over this dying pub have transformed it and I for one am delighted, as they have truly saved our village pub. The atmosphere is electric and one that I have not seen in recent history. From quiz nights on Monday, to live entertainment at the weekends, to acoustic jam sessions on a Wednesday, they have completely turned the place around. I see alot of families in and particularly ladies now, where it was previously a 'mans' pub. Additionally, I bump into people that I have not seen in the pub in a good few years. I cannot wait for their restaurant and take-away to be open! And to the comment by BasF, you are either a disgruntled customer or you have not been in since the new management has been in place. Long live the Bully!
