Part deli, part restaurant, part wine café, part off licence, Delivino is a master of all these trades. The interior is bright, the original v-lined walls painted New England style, neutral colours with some pieces of antique furniture adding character. This place is tasteful in every way. Most of the food is Italian and features great produce, the grazing platter an ideal way to sample a lot of what the deli has to offer, including hams, olives and great cheese. The Delivino pizza is thin, crispy, lighter and paler than the average, the quality of the mozzarella and passatta topping a fabulous base for additions like roasted peppers and spicy Italian sausage. The salads are large and generous and all the cakes and desserts are home made. Look out for the chocolate flan and the apple tart - delicious. The wine list is small but perfectly formed, as owner Jamie Stewart used to work in the trade. If you live nearby then you’re probably a regular already, if you’re passing through it’s well worth a pit stop.
