Established in 1975, Belhaven is one of only a handful of independent fish farm processors in Scotland. Their Dunbar smoked salmon is made by smoking a fillet over oak chips from whisky barrels then preserving it using a traditional rum cure. Belhaven specialises in mail order but also has a shop open seven days a week – as well as their own fresh, marinated and smoked trout, they also stock Lammermuir smoked cheese and Ballencrieff smoked bacon and premium sausages.

We serve Belhaven's smoked salmon in our coffee shop and we (and our customers) believe it is the best smoked salmon we have ever tasted, really succulent and full of flavour. We also serve Belhaven's smoked goats cheese (which we serve with roasted peppers and balsamic vinegar), which is truly delicious, smells amazing, reminiscent of a peaty smoky single malt! and is the most popular veggie sandwich we sell. We'd recommend Belhaven to retail and wholesale alike, great service, friendly staff and out of this world produce, give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
