Aiming to create excellent quality chocolate at affordable prices, The Chocolate Tree is the brain child of Friederike Matthis and Alastair Gower. With the original idea of touring their chocolate around the British music festivals, they can still be found travelling the length and breadth of the country selling their wares during the festival season. Always choosing local and organic ingredients where possible, all of their products are handcrafted in small batches in their country kitchen and available from their Bruntsfield shop and cafe or online. The product range stretches from chocolate bars and truffles to dairy-free hazelnut spread, chocolate dipped strawberries and cakes, which can all be enjoyed over a cup of hot chocolate in their cosy cafe.
