A family-run business, Dee Fish has its own trawlers that keep its shops in Castle Douglas and Dalbeattie supplied with scallops, lobsters, prawns and a variety of white fish. Their nearby smokehouse produces oak-smoked salmon, trout and haddock, as well as smoked meat and game for local butchers. They only smoke Grade A Scottish farmed salmon or wild salmon which has been caught by half-netters and stake nets on the rivers Nith, Cree and Dee. A variety of seafood is available to buy online.
