Cairn o' Mohr Winery is well worth a visit to sample the range of wines made from local fruits, flowers and leaves. New to the range is a cider. Tour the winery to see the wine-making process and try the cafe, which sells hearty bowls of soups, stovies of the day as well as daily specials. Or try unusual scones – gorgonzola and grape, anyone? And all served up in quirky surroundings.
