I have visited several times with various friends and on no occasion have I been disappointed. The staff were friendly, the location marvellous. Lots to do for both kids and adults, and everyone seeming to enjoy themselves. Most of the activities are admittedly outdoors but a little bit of rain never hurt anyone. Piggywigg...get yourself an umbrella or a raincoat, some of these things are just trials of life that must be endured!! But I do agree that in bad weather it is unfair to make people eat outside, and a sheltered picnic area should be provided. I suppose the problem is that most people are there purely for the food they sell...(which is brilliant).

Came for a visit in the summer with group of friends and bunch of kids! Weather was horrendous - rained all day but nowhere for mums to shelter while kids played apart from cafe.
Limit to how many cups of coffee you can drink and ice creams you can purchase.
As entry price already expensive had tried to keep costs down by bringing picnic but told off for sitting at indoor trestle tables outside cafe!
On whole members of staff sympathised but one extremely rude!!
Complained but told have outdoor picnic area - can't provide anyhting more - still feel ripped off and won't be back!
