It's amazing how much you can pack into one small shop. The shelves and counters of this treasure trove tucked away off Byres Road are stuffed full of bric-a-brac: on a good day you can find anything from Art Nouveau glassware to original 1970s Star Wars toys in one rummage. Particularly good if you're trying to find retro one off to make your house look a little bit special, as they're usually excellent on vintage telephones and radios, ceramics, collectibles, comics and lighting fixtures. Prices range from 50p to £1000.

I was in Relics this afternoon when the customer behind me farted. The pompous moustachio'd owner turned in my direction and said, forcefully, "If you're doing that, LEAVE NOW!". I replied "It wasn't me, chief". This was met with a glare and the retort "It WAS you". At this I said "You are mistaken" and attempted to leave - but this took 2 LONG minutes as this tiny shop is crammed with junk and is harder to navigate than a submarine. Zero points for customer relations, idiot!
