Founded by world-renowned polymath D'Arcy Thompson in the 1880s, the University of Dundee's Zoology Museum features an amazing variety of mammals, birds, fish, reptiles and insects from around the world, as well as many of D'Arcy's original models and teaching charts. As well as being open to general visitors during the summer, the museum hosts a range of special events throughout the year.
