Clan Skates

This West End store opened in 1987 and specialises in the board sports of skate, surf and snow. As well as selling merchandise, each Sunday between May and November the shop runs surf lessons for beginners – or those who want to brush up on their skills. Its BSA accredited owner, Jamie Blair, who has over 18 years' experience of the sport, instructs these lessons at west or east coast locations at a cost of £45 per day, which includes equipment hire.
