Have stayed at the Portmann a few times, good rooms, comfortable and clean. Staff are all friendly enough, fodds good and reasonably priced, well located for the M77 and train service from Prestwick Airport or Glasgow. Very close to Kilmarnock town centre. Would reccomend it.

I stayed at the portman, was locked out for a night I had paid for, had to go and stay in the premier down the road (which is quite nice!), never got a refund for the night i couldnt get in, they even CHARGED MY CARD FOR ANOTHER NIGHT WITHOUT authorisation !!!!!!!!
Its cold
Its dirty
Youre lucky if you get to park
Recommend it to people you DONT like !!!!!!
