3. M8 Oct 2009, 12:48pm4 stars The Picture House Report

Good, reasonably intimate venue with decent bar provision. I'd prefer it if they offered at least one cask ale, but I realise that's asking just a bit too much.

Otherwise a great venue for live music.

2. HMV picture house A+++7 Oct 2009, 10:05am4 stars The Picture House Report

Went here to see Pete Doherty earlyier in the year, was impressed with the venue nice atmosphere and quite afew bars so it was really quick and easy to get a drink all in all a nice venue. I intend to go back for one of there club nights!

I would recommend trying this place out. Great gig venue!

1. NEW YEAR 2009 was a complete wash out! Avoid !!1 Jan 2009, 12:53pm Report

This venue was a complete disaster... Having spent more than £100 for all our tickets , we couldnt believe the poor quality/amateur status of bands that were on offer to entertain ...
It was the worst new year we have all ever endured & would never wish to experience again , in a disaster music zone venue ,such as the picture house . We left before the bells thats how bad it was , an overall complete washout as my GF kept saying!!!
Been truly honest the venue would not be worthy off any star rating as it was so depressing. Think there would be more life in a funeral parlour!
