Rags

A much needed new addition to the few clubs in the city, Rags (formerly Becks) is a rejuvenated venue in which bright young things can be seen strutting their stuff. For those too tired or timid to dance, there's the mezzanine floor with balcony to enjoy the revelry below. Indeed, upstairs feels cosy and secluded but the unfortunate narrow strip of booths downstairs opposite the bar doesn't lend itself to a sociable environment, more voyeuristic. Resident DJ Scott Langley plays Eclectic House music at the weekends the sounds of hip hop, indie and rock can also be heard.
