Rainbow's End

A proper old fashioned sweetie shop complete with jars and an assistant of indeterminate age who could tell you a story about every variety of sweet in the place. Modern sweets are in evidence too but don’t go looking for posh chocs – a fried breakfast fashioned from gummy sweets is more the Rainbow’s End’s style – and would make a great present, representative of the dark underbelly of Scotland’s culinary heritage that you won’t see trumpeted in any other guide book. The shop front also has a sign which says Yummie Sweetie Shop.
