The Fraser Gallery
This small but fascinating commercial gallery is definitely worth a visit for art lovers. The walls of the compact ground floor room are covered floor to ceiling with every conceivable kind of painting and print, the gallery owners concentrating on a mixture of local Scottish works, Russian pieces and other art from mainland Europe. There are plenty of numbered landscape prints by James McIntosh Patrick, an acclaimed Dundonian realist painter, and if nothing on the ground floor takes your fancy, the basement is packed with more adventurous and experimental works.
