Duntrune House

For those not bothered about being based in town, Duntrune House makes a great alternative. Five miles northeast of the city centre, the listed building is set in several acres of mature garden and woodland, and is oozing with relaxed country charm, thanks mainly to its attentive and considerate owners. The B&B is ideally placed for exploring Angus and beyond, from the seaside delights of Broughty Ferry and Arbroath to the glens a few miles inland. There are only a few rooms, so the atmosphere is friendly and personal, with evening meals available on request as well.
