Simpson's
Send us more details about this place.
The crowd at Pittodrie might describe Simpson's as a game of two halves. The bar has predictable dark wood fittings and leather seating with a limited and unimaginative lunch menu. But follow the sweeping staircase down to the restaurant and it's a different result. Aesthetically surprising, the restaurant is riotously peach with what must be the only palm trees in Aberdeen. The menu though, is as inventive and a lot more successful than the decoration. It includes a goat's cheese starter with saffron pear chutney and main courses of beef with smoked haggis and beetroot chutney.
