Flaming torches above the door light the way to one of Aberdeen's smartest bars for an affluent, togged-up over 25's crowd. Stone floors and lots of brickwork give the place an edge over its blond wood and brushed steel competitors. Mid-week lunchtimes find suited and sober customers enjoying speedy deli lunches at the bar but in the evening, with the customers multiplied and changed into their gladrags, the bar is noisy and fun -- especially when big sports events are on the plasma screens. Later, DJs mix RnB with chart as champagne and cocktails fuel the party.
