Former Masterchef contestant Karen Murray built an oasis in the city's culinary desert when she opened this real-deal deli in 2001. Fresh and modern, its well-presented, well-stocked shelves are stacked with continental and exotic foods as well as Aberdeenshire’s best local produce. Lunchers drop by for a salad, soup or pannini and most can't resist a little something from the sumptuous selection of cheeses, olives and olive oils or the more adventurous selection of proper Paella ingredients, Asian and African foods.
