Leakey's Second Hand Bookshop

Charles Leakey has been in the book business since he relocated to Inverness from Hertfordshire in 1979. Formerly home to St Mary's Gaelic Church, the historic premises provide the perfect environment to browse through rows of tall wooden shelves stuffed with books on every subject imaginable. Leakey also specialises in old maps and prints, found on the gallery level. You'll also find an informal café upstairs serving inexpensive food: homemade soups, sandwiches, baked potatoes and salads.
