La Tortilla Asesina

La Tortilla Asesina is the authentic brainchild of Duncan Chisolm, and locals in the know like to think of it as the best tapas bar outside Spain. After touring Spain on his motorbike, involving numerous stops at tapas bars along the way, Chisolm decided to take the concept back home. Not only has he successfully recreated the look, including imported tiles adorning the restaurant's bottom half and chilled counters at the bar, the food is right on the money -- and all at good value for money too. It's busy in the evening, but tables are worth waiting for.
