Riverhouse Restaurant
The Riverhouse is not particularly close to the nearest river (the Forth), nor does it, as its website mischievously claims, occupy a loch side setting (the 'loch' is a small, man-made body of water not a great deal bigger than a pond.) What it does do is provide good value food in a comfortable, accessible location with plentiful free parking. Lunches in the wooden building based on a traditional Scottish Crannog are as popular with business customers as they are with families for whom the children’s play area is a big draw.

Fantastic value and absolutely great for kids ... Wine could be better but I would say that ;-)
