Equally as useful for a relaxed daytime drink as for a stop-off before clubbing, The Globe attracts a high percentage of students to its split-level environs, the simple décor of the low-ceilinged space reflecting the no-nonsense attitude of the staff, who remain almost relentlessly upbeat no matter how busy it gets (and it gets pretty damn busy on weekend nights).
