Fisher & Donaldson (Dundee Whitehall Street)

Fisher and Donaldson is no ordinary bakery. Billing itself as a patisserie, boulangerie, confiserie and chocolaterie, the place is one of seven shops in Dundee and Fife, and they undoubtedly produce the best cakes and sticky buns in the city. This compact little shop has a fantastic array of chocolates and other sweeties as well as all the usual sweet and savoury bakery staples, plus loads of larger cakes as well. A small café in the shop allows you to sample stuff on site, where they also put on great soups, sandwiches and breakfasts, for a very reasonable price indeed.
