Fat Sams

Fat Sams has been going since 1983, and remains a mainstay of Dundee’s nightlife still. Originally better known for live music, these days Fat Sams is a clubbing institution, with only occasional gigs peppering their listings. A recent expansion has greatly increased the capacity of the place, the three floors now offering a greater range of clubbing experiences. The emphasis is on the cooler chart floor-fillers as well as R&B, house and hip hop, but there are also rock and indie events, retro evenings and special student nights as well. Pretty much an all-purpose, all-tastes joint.
