Zinc
Though no longer a corner of Terence Conran's empire, Zinc still occupies an enviable spot on the second floor of Princes Square, its balcony tables looking down on countless rash fashion purchases. Inside, grey walls are energized with subtle pastel lighting, while an undulating ceiling of slatted decking ripples over low, designer sofas and cubed tables. The bar is glittering, mirror-backed and reassuringly expensive, while the rear dining area looks out onto the street below. The food is a modern brasserie selection of cute and faddish updates of traditional favourites. Bookings can be made via website.
