The reincarnated Oddfellows opened in January, and the place has undergone a complete overhaul. All that remains of the original pub interior is the grand staircase leading to the balcony area. The new look is retro chic, with an orange space-age bar and mirrored tables upstairs, and lime green walls and furniture in the downstairs drinking/dining space. An imposing Adam and Eve psychedelic mural and strange pictures adorn the walls, completing the bizarre theme. The kitchen is operated by nearby Monster Mash, and the menu is made up of the simple, hearty food that it is known for. This means offerings such as chicken and mushroom pie or a chicken burger (perhaps not 'the best burger in the world', more a fair example). Puddings seem more formulaic - fans of the brownie sundae will like the remarkably similar chocolate fudge sundae. Appealing largely to the student market, Oddfellows offers various deals and events, with live music on Sundays and 'the weirdest quiz in town' on Mondays.
