Byblos

Had a fantastic b'day party in Byblos 2 weeks ago in the VIP room. Great night, great food and great tunes - the perfect place for a party!

Hi, I also had my Birthday party in the Orchid lounge and I must say the management did nothing but help with food, times and the Dj. The night was amazing and we all stayed in the club till 3am curtsey of the management. My party was also only booked from 7 till 11, but come on Sharon H, it is a night club and my party was on a Saturday night as well.
Anyway to anyone thinking about using Byblos for their own party I would highly recommend it. Good door staff, good bar staff, good management and if you do need a DJ ask for their Saturday night resident Will Gunn, he definitely made the night for everyone! (Thanks Will).

Was suprised to see the comment left about the 30th birthday party. I had my 30th in Byblos Orchird room, was an excellent night, I was told that the room would be booked until 11pm and then the public have access to the club from 11pm onwards which I thought was fair as it was a Saturday night and would have cost a fortune to close down a nightclub just for me, was fine for me as my party was from 7pm - 11pm although they said everyone at the party could stay in the club until 3am and have use of all the rooms. Perfect for what we wanted - I didnt ask about kids though as having a party in a nightclub (even though private function) I would have assumed that they wouldnt have been allowed in anyway. Pity your party didnt end well, but we all had a great time - young and old!

Byblos is the best club by far in Glasgow at the moment. The orchid lounge Saturday's are fantastic. The crowd is great the two Dj's are probably the best in Glasgow at the moment for the mix of music they play and the place looks amazing. it all adds up to a great night every time. cant wait till the new year , SNOW PATROL A-Whoop!

I booked my 30 th party at Byblos club. I had everything planned, asked all the right questions about kids being allowed in. I wanted to celebrate with all my friends and family.

I was assured that kids would be allowed in until 11pm and that the room I had hired, was available until 3am.

When the night came, I arrived with my family and was told that kids were not allowed in after 8! We were also thrown out the room at 11pm, my decorations were torn off the wall. We weren't allowed in for jackets and were told that we would have to come back on Monday for any belogings left behind.

Unfortunately, It was a manager I booked with, so what chance do you have when a manager doesn't know his licensing laws!

Some of the bouncers were also very aggressive.

A lovely room, but unfortunately their managerial capability leaves alot to be desired. He couldn't run a bath!
