LuLu is absolute crap! I visited the club on my holiday to Edinburgh last week and I was thoroughly unimpressed!
The music sucked! That meant that there was absolutely noone was on the dance floor. And inspite of repeated requests to the DJ from our camp to change the music, he insisted on continuing to play the crap he was playing whilst he made out with his girlfriend in his little booth.
Overall, it was a very boring experience. A waste of a night in Edinburgh! I would not recommend LuLu to anyone who goes to George street to have a good time!

I didn't enjoy this place. The music was a really basic mix of cheese and didn't reflect the claims made about it on the company website. It is really cramped and completely packed with no room to move. I thought that over all it was nothing special and was cetainly not one of Edinburgh's premier venues.
I also saw a group of bouncers acting like thugs hurling really horrible abuse at a guy as I was smoking outside, all because he was gay.
I would not go back to this place. Try the other places on George street which do live up to the image of the street. I really don't see what is so special about LuLu.
