The Factory Skatepark
Tell us more about this place.
Dundee has long had a healthy skateboarding scene, and for 20-odd years, the Factory has existed in one form or another, mostly unofficially in derelict buildings. These days the Factory is a big deal, a £1.3 million purpose-built skate park building in the city’s Douglasfield area (just off the Kingsway) which houses over 16,000 square feet of skating area. Two-hour sessions cost a fiver, and there is a full range of equipment for hire, as well as a very cool skate shop on the premises, a pretty good Indian restaurant, an internet café and even a few showers.

The Factory is not my first choice of skateparks I tell ya.
Go to Dudhope park above the city centre and use the outdoor concrete free one!
