Located in the Bathgate Hills, Cairnpapple Hill is an area of great historical significance. Burial grounds and remains from the Neolithic and Bronze Ages have been unearthed here. There is a visitor centre and reconstructed cairn to allow visitors to examine the grave sites as they would have been in prehistoric times.
