Independently owned club, Bakoo opened in summer 2003 and effortlessly established itself as the coolest club in town (bearing in mind there are only three in Inverness). While they class themselves as an anti-establishment venue (imagine a devil mural on one wall and low, bed-style seating), Bakoo has commercial clout, regularly attracting big-name guests including former All Saints' singer Melanie Blatt, R&B star Lisa Maffia and BBC Radio One's DJ Fergie. Drinks are reasonably priced and there are strictly no trainers allowed.
