I hope it survives but the problem seems to be that the very good work and skills exhibited tend not be things you might easily incorporate in a modern home. Better of some of the work showed itself as decorative or had some impact and not just examples of the deft or dinky novelty tourist trapping stuff. But then, its all a matter of taste.
