Gladstone Theatre

A production of the famous musical set in the little village of Anatevka, Tevye, where a poor dairyman tries to pass on to his five daughters the traditions of his tight-knit Jewish community in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia.

These gripping but charming tales, chart the personal journeys of four women who sign up to become Land Girls, determined to work endless, backbreaking hours on farms across the country in a bid to do their best for the war effort.
