Curve Theatre

De Montfort University is home to some of the most innovative dance practice in the country. The annual University Dance Festival showcases the best of the best student work produced over the course of the year and makes new dance available to a wider audience in the form of fresh, exuberant and challenging performances.

Commissioned and first performed by The National Youth Music Theatre, The Dreaming is a musical version of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Composer Howard Goodall (Hired Man) and lyricist Charles Hart (Phantom of the Opera) combine glorious tunes with superb comedy and a distinctly spooky edge.
