There are good and bad points to say about compton verney. However, I feel in my opinion that the bad points outweigh the good points by a long mark. After arriving to the grounds, we parked up and asked a staff member of compton verney to give us directions to the nearest toilets, he shrugged his shoulders and then pointed to some portable toilets and groaned some thing inaudible. The portable toilets were covered in what looked like human faeces from floor to ceiling, I couldn’t let my boys use them as I feared that they may come into contact. Not the best start to the day out at Compton Verney. Oh well, the grounds looked quite good, not quite the standard a day out at a national heritage site but still quite nice. The rest of the day was pretty stressful as the staff members were very rude and unhelpful. If you are considering a day out at Compton Verney, then make sure you have a lot of tolerance for condescending staff members who look down their noses at you.
