The Beat
Tell us more about this place.
Attached to the rear of the Meadowpark Hotel on the road from Stirling to Bridge of Allan, Beat has a slick, urban feel that contrasts starkly to its rural setting. Safer than its rowdy competitors in the centre of Stirling, it attracts business away from the union in the nearby campus.

Loving that The Beat is now The Red Room, the place has a new feel about it but still fun for the youngest students to us getting a bit older and still trying to live our mis-spent youth of the days of the Beat/OutHouse
As the other people who have commented on The Beat approx 2 years ago at 3am in the morning, its a shame if anyone cares about their reviews....
The place is rocking, I recently danced my ass off at Optimo, laughed my ass off at Goldie Looking Chain (tragic but just way too much fun!!!) and couldn't believe how good it was to see Mylo @ such a small venue....
I've not seen any hassle in the place, but then again, maybe I don't just look for it!

I would like to say I first do drink in excess, i go out and enjoy social areas with people, with people i know, i went to the beat after a long period ( i used to go at the age of 18 and did concider it my hometown club) it was familiar and regular. I had not visited the beat for a year or so, i went with friends with a nostaligic feeling. Throughout the night i was approached by a young neddish girl threatning to attack my friend through concern my freind was a threat to the relationship of this girl, with her 'gentleman', i quickly alerted the 'bouncer' with concerns of abuse, he acknowledged this and assured our safety in the club, after a period of five minutes or so the girl approached us in an agressive nature only to be approached by the 'bouncers' and taken from the club. I felt relief from this and continued to enjoy my evening which was only interupted by a 'security guard' grabbing my collar (the back of my neck) pulling me out of the club like a disobedient dog only to introduced to the angry girl who had exaggerated emotions of her boyfriend and my friend. I am very dissappointed in the proffessionalism of your staff and have decided never to come to the beat. I have lived in stirling all my life and know alot of people who are have also, i will also suggest to these people and friends of, never to visit the beat. I have never been treated like this before, i suggest you concider this and act apon my concerns. Your business depends on good promotion, Stirling is a small town and you depend on the constant positive reviews of regulars!!
