What you would expect of a rock bar, down and dirty and partly buried under ground. The room used for gigs is a total sweatbox and is like being in a cave. Great atmosphere for gigs and I have have caught some excellent bands there including Faster Pussycat, Vain, The Amorettes, Firebrand Super Rock, The Virginmarys etc. Very full schedule of a wide variety of live rock acts from internationally renowned to up and coming local acts. Just how you would imagine a proper live rock venue should be. The main bar can get a bit squashy but the drink selection is good and the staff have always been friendly. A good place to hit if you fanyc a bit of a rock night.
