With the understanding that Tiger Tiger was an upmarket trendy bar/restaurant I nervously entered with a bulging wallet taking my girlfriend for lunch. She was pleased to see that on departure I had plenty money left for her to spend. Tiger Tiger offered fantastic value and the bill at the end was no dearer than any other pub lunch. Having a soft spot for lunch at All Bar One in Glasgow I would say that lunch at Tiger Tiger matched if not surpassed that of ABO however was substantially cheaper!Service was excellent, we have since returned and one particular member of staff remembered us from the first time which was pleasing. Although we only wanted hamburger and chips the menu has a wide range of selection at more than reasonable prices. 2 hamburgers and chips plus a couple of drinks was less than £15. I felt quite embarrassed that I had not spent enough and told the waitress to keep the change off a £20 note!
