The Great Scottish Swim
Thousands of people take to the water and swim one mile, raising money for charities in the process. The event aims to make swimming races in open water as accessible and popular as charity runs and marathons have become in recent years, with a choice of half a mile, one mile or two. Wetsuits only.

Starting and finishing on Loch Lomond Shores and taking in great views, this fun run is open to adults and children aged 11+.
Loch Lomond Food and Drink Festival
Tasty tipples and appetising nibbles on the bonny banks of Loch Lomond. The festival comprises free cookery demonstrations, a farmers' market, continental market, tasting and sampling sessions, a real ale tent and live music.
