Tell us more about this venue.
The Scottish Dolphin Centre is based in Moray in a beautiful setting right at the mouth of the River Spey. The Centre is at the heart of a Scottish Wildlife Trust reserve, where the Spey, the fastest flowing river in Scotland, meets the sea. The area is rich in wildlife and history. Some of the largest bottlenose dolphins in the world are seen regularly hunting around the mouth of the river, seals and otters can be seen in and around the river, ospreys return every year between April and September followed by over-wintering geese. You can visit the largest Ice House in Scotland and experience our free interactive exhibition, with fun activities and games for all ages. Tours, walks, experienced guides, free binocular hire, land based dolphin watching and information on our very latest sightings are all here for you to experience and enjoy. You can also take time out for refreshments at Café Wild and browse the splendid selection of giftware in our shop. It’s a special place to explore with something for everyone.
