Old Town describes itself as the 'spiritual brother' of the West Port bookshops. Established in 1978, this ageing Aladdin's cave provides a gentle introduction to the world of antiquarian books, stocking everything from early 1650s theology and literature to the modern crime fiction of Ian Rankin. It also has a substantial collection of Scottish prints and maps dating from the 1620s-1880s.
